Connecting a grandMA2 Console

grandMA2 support is on the way but not yet available in the public build.

What works today

Nothing yet. The desktop agent can still file images correctly; it simply will not push references onto a grandMA2 console.

What is planned

  • Telnet based remote command line transport.
  • User variable based reference path delivery, mirroring the grandMA3 approach.
  • Cue label matching using the same <scene>_<take> convention.

When

We expect the first private beta in the next minor release. Subscribers on the Tour plan get access first. To register interest, write to admin@tolmon.com with grandMA2 beta in the subject.

Note

If you operate grandMA2 today and would be willing to test, mention the show, the console firmware version, and a rough timeframe. We line up beta partners around real production windows.

In the meantime

The desktop agent fully supports watching, organising, and reviewing reference images even without a desk hookup. You can copy or symlink the output folder into your show file media folder by hand.
